Role:

Academy of Excellence Learning Center in Lancaster, CA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood team! Responsibilities:

Provide attentive, compassionate daily care for infants including feeding, diapering, and soothing Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, and physical development Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing classroom environment that meets licensing standards Observe and document infant milestones and developmental progress Communicate regularly and effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's daily activities and growth Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols in accordance with state childcare regulations Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Requirements:

Minimum 6 months to 1 year of experience working with infants in a childcare or early education setting At least 15 units in ECE including infant and toddler Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Knowledge of infant development milestones and developmentally appropriate practices Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with families Must pass a background check and meet California Community Care Licensing requirements Patient, warm, and dependable with a genuine love for working with infants
