Role:
Academy of Excellence Learning Center in Lancaster, CA is looking for a passionate and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our dedicated team! This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on young learners during their most formative years. Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate, engaging lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment for preschool-aged children Monitor and document children's developmental progress and milestones Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student growth and daily activities Supervise children during classroom activities, meals, and outdoor play Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to support a positive learning community Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked classroom environment
Requirements:
At Least 12 units in Early Childhood Education Valid California Child Development Permit (Teacher level or higher) preferred Prior experience working with preschool or early childhood-aged children Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine passion for teaching Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children, parents, and staff
