35am to 4:35pm We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Assistant to join our Home Preschool Setting. In this role, you will support by creating a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment for young learners. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Duties Work with small groups and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate literacy education, math, and basic curriculum development aligned with early childhood education standards Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and helping children develop social skills through effective behavior management strategies Engage children in activities that promote childhood development, including toddler care, and sensory play Help maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and safety Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to ensure a collaborative approach to education and care Assist with daily childcare routines such as snack time, nap time, diapering, and outdoor play Qualifications 2 years prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development and curriculum planning Experience with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous Passion for nurturing young learners and supporting their growth through engaging activities such as literacy education, math concepts, and Montessori-inspired methods Join us in shaping the future by inspiring young minds!
