In our groups we have a low teacher to child ratio which allows for relationship-based care. We are looking to fill a part time position for an assistant Educator to work in our Toddler/Sprouts and Infant/Seedlings Program M-F. We are a Reggio inspired program drawing from best practices. Our teacher to child ratio in the Sprouts group is typically 1:5. In our Infant/Seedling group we have a 1:3.5 ration. Responsibilities and Duties Some common duties will include: Helping toddlers separate/say goodbye to their parent Developing and Planning Activities based on the interest of the group. Setting up areas to include indoor and OUTDOOR interest areas. Helping to provide children with a pleasant and clean environment to work in. Assisting with classroom flow and management Assisting with diapering and taking children to the bathroom Assisting with lunch and snack Assisting with supervision Qualifications and Skills Must have at least 12 ECE units (pay is based on experience and education) and Livescan/Criminal Background check, CURRENT Vaccinations per CDSS and

COVID 19

Vaccinations. Please include in resume or response including experience and education relevant to working with young children in a professional setting. Pay is based on education and experience working with young children.
