We are looking for an Assistant Educator to work in our Reggio inspired early learning program (children ages 2 to 5 years). Hours

M-F 9-12.

Additional hours may be available to cover for educator vacations . . . We are a Reggio inspired program drawing from best practices. Our student to teacher ratio in our pre-k group is typically 1:8 during small group time and 1:10 while in mixed outdoor time . Individual needs to be flexible and open to learning and taking direction from experienced staff. Please visit our website www.littlesunshinehouse.com to get a good understanding of our program. Responsibilities and Duties Some common duties will include: Assisting with classroom flow and management Assisting with implementation of activities and interest areas based on observations Assisting with diapering and taking children to the bathroom Assisting with snack Assisting with supervision Cleaning tables, chairs, sweeping, vacuuming and/or mopping floor to provide children with a pleasant and clean environment to work in. Qualifications and Skills Must have at least 6 ECE units and Livescan/Criminal Background check. Please include in resume or response including experience and education relevant to working with young children in a professional setting. Pay is based on education and experience working with young children. Min 6 ECE units and experience (17.50 hour) - 12 ECE units with experience in the field (18.00-22.00 an hour).
