Join the incredible educator team at our Reggio Emilia-inspired childcare center! GeoKids is committed to providing the highest quality of care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and we're looking for caring, team-oriented teachers to add to our special community.
Minimum qualifications:
A degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with a minimum of 12 ECE units (Child/Human Growth & Development; Child, Family, & Community; Programs & Curriculum) 3 semester (4 quarter units) in Infant/Toddler Development coursework is a plus! 1+ years of experience in Pre-K, preschool, and/or infant/toddler programs Knowledge of or experience with the Reggio Emilia philosophy Our educators have the ability to: Provide nurturing, responsive care for children (ages 3 months - 5 years) Support social-emotional development and early learning through play Implement emergent curriculum inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy Collaborate with a teaching team to plan and reflect on classroom experiences Build strong partnerships with families and caregivers Maintain a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment Bring willingness to learn and grow with other members of the school community by participating in staff development opportunities Maintain availability during GeoKids Hours of operation 7:30am-6:00pm. Shift schedules (7:30-3:30, 8:30-4:30, 9:30-5:30, 10:00-6:00) are determined on teaching teams and based on classroom and schoolwide operational needs. Salary & Benefits GeoKids offers a competitive salary based on qualifications and years of experience in the field.
Salary:

$31.78/hr 12+ ECE Units +$1.092/hr Associate's Degree (AA) +$1.092/hr Bachelor's Degree (BA) +$1.638/hr Master's Degree (MA) +$2.184/hr Master Teacher Permit +$0.546/hr Site Supervisor / Program Director Permit +$1.092/hr Tenure +$0.546/hr per year, up to 10 years Maximum tenure differential: +$5.46/hr
