Job Summary We are seeking a loving and caring teacher, who is passionate Fun Infant/Toddler Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will foster a joyful learning environment for young children, guiding their early development through engaging activities and thoughtful instruction. Your enthusiasm will help ignite a love for learning and support each child's unique growth journey. Duties Develop and implement creative, age-appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles and early childhood education best practices Facilitate play-based learning activities that promote social skills, motor development, literacy education, and basic math concepts Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Communicate regularly with parents to share progress updates, developmental milestones, and classroom experiences Ensure a safe environment by adhering to child welfare standards, first aid and CPR procedures, and mandated reporting laws Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that supports children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or early intervention services Maintain accurate records of student development, attendance, and assessments aligned with standardized testing protocols when applicable Experience Prior experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting is highly preferred Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development instruction and classroom management techniques Experience developing curricula that integrate arts-based activities such as music, dance, or theater is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and team members Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional training in special education or early intervention is advantageous Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare practices is essential Previous teaching experience with young children in private school or daycare environments will be considered an asset

Pay:

$23.00 - $26.00 per hour
