Minimum Qualifications :

12 Early Childhood Education Core Units which must include : Child in Home & Community ; Child Development

• Birth to Age 8 ; an Early Childhood Education curriculum/programs and principles course; and one additional 3-unit ECE course.

Infant/Toddler Development is a plus. Classroom management experience. Ability to relate well to adults, children and work effectively with other adults in classroom situation. Must have and maintain first Aid & CPR throughout employment. Must meet all requirements for health screening, TB testing (within past 12 months), background checks (without exemptions), training certifications and immunizations as described by Childcare Licensing. Able to twist, turn, stoop, reach, push, bend, get up and down from the floor, and demonstrate a full range of motion. Able to lift children, boxes or equipment up to 50 pounds. Responsibilities Foster a safe and nurturing classroom environment through effective classroom management techniques. Monitor and assess students' progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including maintaining First Aid and CPR certifications. Utilize emergent curriculum practices to create meaningful and engaging monthly project approach explorations and weekly lesson plans . Compile engagement and portfolio documentation and complete DRDP assessments twice per year utilizing the Learning Genie app. Qualifications Toddler / Preschool experience Experience working with students Lesson planning
