If you're a devoted Early Childhood Educator with a special calling to work with infants, we invite you to explore a truly fulfilling opportunity at our Christian Preschool, a vital ministry of Taft Avenue Community Church. We are actively seeking an Infant Teacher to join our compassionate and collaborative team. We're looking for a part-time team member to start immediately, working Monday - Friday, 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM. There's a possibility this role could expand to full-time for the right candidate. We're Looking for
Someone Who:
Possesses a deep love for children and their families. Has at least 12 ECE units, including 3 Infant/Toddler specific units (please note on your resume). A high school diploma or GED equivalent. Must be at least 18 years of age (California Childcare Licensing Requirement). Has previous experience in early childhood education (preferred).
Your Impact:
You'll be instrumental in the daily care and development of our infants and toddlers, including: Providing nurturing care and meeting emotional/physical needs. Planning and leading engaging indoor and outdoor activities (art, movement, literature, etc). Communicating positively with parents in person and via our online portal. Collaborating as part of a supportive team. Assisting with feeding, diapering, naptime, and playtime. Comfortable with lifting children up to 25 lbs.
