INFANT TODDLER
Childcare Center. This is more than just a daycare job. It's a journey, where the children learn, grow, thrive—and play—every day. Being a teacher at a childcare center is something special. We're hiring and we want to inspire children to become lifelong learners. To make a difference in the lives of our young children that we are with on a daily basics! Organize, prepare and help lead activities designed to help the children to become problem solvers and lifelong learners with structure activities and hands-on learning through literacy, math, sensory, arts and crafts, music and movement, reading & storytelling and lots of outdoor time. Be Creative! Implement curriculum while creating fun, interactive learning experiences for the children. Attend to ALL the children's basic needs which include but not limited to: Lots of genuine love and nurturing, providing meals & snacks, diaper changing, keeping them clean. Prepare materials and help set up your classroom for class activities. To learn our academic curriculum that we provide and share your ideas with us. Teach basic skills such as color, shape, number counting and letter recognition. Able to stand for long periods of time, frequent walking, sitting on the floor and playing with children, being able to lift up to a 40lb child in an emergency situation. Able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Job Qualifications:
15 Early Childhood Education Core units (ECE) included Infant & Toddler. Must be able to speak English clearly and be able to communicate with other staff and parents clearly. Must be able to pass FBI Fingerprint, DOJ and Child Abuse index background check, and have a current CPR card, and food handler's certificate.
