In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children of various ages, fostering their growth and development through playful learning and attentive supervision. Your energy and compassion will help shape positive early childhood experiences, ensuring each child feels valued and supported every day. Responsibilities Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and structured activities to ensure safety and well-being at all times Implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development in line with early childhood education standards Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning while adhering to health and safety regulations Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and daily experiences to foster strong partnerships Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child safety or well-being to appropriate authorities Assist with diapering, feeding, and basic infant care as needed for younger children in the center Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and resolving conflicts in a constructive manner Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development instruction and early childhood education principles Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, and child safety procedures is required or obtainable upon hire Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within the childcare environment Ability to manage classroom activities confidently while maintaining a nurturing approach Understanding of mandated reporting laws and classroom management techniques Join us in creating joyful learning moments!
