The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for school age children. The Childcare Provider will be responsible for fostering educational activities, managing behavior, and ensuring the well-being of each child in their care. Responsibilities Provide attentive and responsive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development. Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good conduct. Keep a clean and organized play area to promote a healthy environment for children. Administer first aid when necessary and ensure that all safety protocols are followed. Experience Previous experience working with school age childcare is preferred. Experience driving a group of children in a facility vehicle ensuring proper safety equipment is utilized and rules of the road are strictly followed, must have a clean driving record, with a minimum of 3 years experience. Knowledge of childhood development principles is essential. Familiarity with behavior management strategies to address various behavioral challenges. Skills in educating young children through play-based learning methods are beneficial. Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus but not required upon hiring; training can be provided. Experience working with children with disabilities is an asset but not mandatory.
