Teaching Full Job Description Responsibilities:

Plan and implement a full-day, year-round developmentally appropriate curriculum including weekly themes and lessons Supervise and engage with preschool-aged children Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages social and emotional development Form and maintain professional relationships with staff, students and families

Desired Skills:

Knowledge of developmental milestones and appropriate practices for different age groups Familiarity with early childhood education theories, methodologies, and best practices Experience working with toddlers, including providing age-appropriate care, activities, and guidance Ability to create a structured and positive classroom environment that promotes learning and cooperation Incorporation of physical activities into daily routines to promote gross motor skills development Understanding of licensing requirements, health and safety regulations, and daily operations in a daycare setting

Requirements:

18 semester units of college-level coursework in early childhood education Experience working in early childhood education or a related field Basic first aid including CPR certification Physically able to lift 50 pounds, bend down, lift overhead, transfer on and off floor
