Please email your resume AND transcripts to Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and social-emotional learning tailored to preschool-aged children. Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, independence, and respect for diversity. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques. Conduct child development assessments to monitor progress and identify early intervention needs when necessary. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering collaborative relationships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student activities and incidents. Incorporate special education strategies to support children with diverse learning needs and promote inclusive classroom practices. Requirements Must have 12 units in Child Development or Early Childhood Education and 3 units specifically in Infant/Toddler. Proven experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, demonstrating strong classroom management skills. Knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development instruction, and curriculum development. Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom safety protocols. Ability to plan engaging lessons that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
