Overview Blooming Preschool in Upland is looking for a Full-Time Preschool Teacher. An early education program where your passion for nurturing young minds will help shape the future! Pay Scale:

$19.50-$25.00 per hour (based on ECE units and experience)

Schedule:

Full-Time, Part-Time, Monday-Friday (Day shift only-No weekends)

Responsibilities Design and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, including literacy education, math, physical education, and science. Foster a positive classroom environment through effective behavior management and classroom management techniques, ensuring safety and engagement for all children. Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth by applying childhood development instruction best practices and understanding individual needs. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress and milestones. Conduct assessments and monitor developmental progress. Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant daycare classroom space. Maintain compliance with mandated reporting laws and ensure adherence to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certification. Collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that promote inclusive learning experiences for preschoolers. Requirements High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 12 ECE Units (Child Growth & Development, Child/Family/Community, and Program/Curriculum).

Note:

Under CA Title 22, candidates with at least 6 completed units who are currently enrolled to finish the remaining units are highly encouraged to apply. CPR/First Aid certification and Mandated Reporter training. Clearance of LiveScan background check. Current TB clearance and immunization records (Measles, Pertussis, Flu) as required by CA. Prior classroom experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, child development theories, and behavior management techniques. Experience developing curriculum content across core areas such as literacy education, math, physical education, and childcare. Strong communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively while fostering positive behavior and social skills among students. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and experience implementing inclusive practices for children with diverse needs.
