We are committed to nurturing each child's growth and education. Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and responsible Child Care Teacher with driving and cleaning duties to join us. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work directly with children, assist with their development, and ensure a safe, clean, and engaging environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, experience working with children of various ages, and the ability to drive safely to pick up children from school. This paid position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic setting and is committed to making a positive impact on children's lives. Responsibilities Safely transport children from school to the child care center, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Supervise children during pickup, drop-off, playtime, and activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist children with homework, reading, and age-appropriate learning activities to support their academic progress Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing daily cleaning duties within the center Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily activities Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any concerns related to child safety or well-being Support classroom management by implementing developmental activities aligned with early childhood education principles Qualifications Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings preferred Knowledge of childhood development instruction and classroom management techniques Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving children preferred Certification in first aid, pediatric first aid, CPR, or willingness to obtain upon hire Familiarity with special education needs or experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members Strong organizational skills for cleaning duties and maintaining a safe environment Must live locally in or nearby to ensure reliable transportation Join our team at Brighter Beginnings in Child Care where your dedication will help shape young minds while ensuring their safety through responsible driving and nurturing care!
