Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Hours 1pm to 5pm Monday to Friday with morning hours as needed
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Monitor student behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
- Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean and safe environment indoors and outdoors
- Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or learning challenges
Skills:
- Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in early childhood education or preschool
- Strong knowledge of literacy education and early childhood development principles
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
