Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Hours 1pm to 5pm Monday to Friday with morning hours as needed
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Monitor student behavior and implement behavior management strategies when necessary
  • Assist with classroom management, including organizing materials and maintaining a clean and safe environment indoors and outdoors
  • Provide individualized attention and support to students with special needs or learning challenges
Skills:
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in early childhood education or preschool
  • Strong knowledge of literacy education and early childhood development principles
  • Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies
  • Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
