Preschool Dance Teacher Sunland Academies Yorba Linda, CA Job Details Part-time | Contract $45 - $55 an hour 17 hours ago Benefits Employee discount Flexible schedule Qualifications Dancing Full Job Description We are seeking a Preschool Dance Teacher to join our amazing staff . We are looking for an energetic, fun individual with a dance background! Our centers serve children ages, infant, through preschool, but we are seeking someone to work with our students ages 3-5 for weekly dance lessons ! Weekly classes would be approximately 20-30 minutes per age group group and shifts would be approx. 1-1.5 hours per week depending on enrollment and will be discussed. Our Dance Teacher's duties would include teaching children ages 3-5 basic dance moves of varying genres throughout the year (basic ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, etc.). Guiding students in physical activity, and coordination as well as preparing bi-yearly recital performances to be performed at your Winter Recital (December) and Graduation Ceremony (June). Instructor should be self motivated to prepare dance lessons, fun and energetic to engage and encourage the children, as well as professional and experienced in Dance. We have multiple Orange County locations and room for growth and additional shifts are available for the right candidate. All Dance lessons will be with the assistance and general supervision of the classroom teachers in order to provide the highest quality of supervision and best learning environment for the students.
