Previous leadership experience and knowledge of Colorado licensing regulations are preferred. As the Assistant Director, you will assist the leadership team in implementing and supporting a high-quality program of care and education for the children, families and faculty in our school community. Paid Holidays (Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day and the Friday before, Thanksgiving, and the Friday after, and Christmas Eve through New Years Day) 401K matching Schedule Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday Required Qualifications Early Childhood Professional Credential 3.0 Level 3 or higher Knowledge of Colorado licensing regulations Strong communication and relationship-building skills Ability to supervise children while maintaining sight and sound supervision Ability to perform classroom support duties, including diapering and toileting when necessary Ability to lead staff through emergencies and crisis situations Commitment to maintaining a positive school culture An offer of employment may be made contingent on the following: A current physical examination by a physician An approved criminal background check, including, without limitation, a Criminal Record and FBI Check as required by the Colorado Department of Human Services Reference check Submission of a medical statement signed by a licensed physician or other health care professional dated no more than six months prior to your employment and no later than 14 days past your hire date, verifying that you are in good mental, physical, and emotional health appropriate for this position Key Responsibilities Support the Director of Education and Director of Operations in maintaining a high-quality early childhood program. Ensure compliance with Colorado licensing, health, and safety regulations. Recruit, develop, coach, and support teaching staff. Conduct classroom observations and support curriculum implementation. Build strong relationships with families and serve as a school ambassador. Assist with enrollment, tours, and community outreach efforts. Support school operations, scheduling, and program administration. Each Goddard School location is privately owned and operated by Goddard Franchisor LLC franchisees.
