Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns. Ensure the safety and well-being of children by adhering to health guidelines, including first aid and CPR procedures. Maintain accurate records of child development progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, classroom setup, and implementing special education or individualized support plans when necessary. Skills Strong experience working with children across various age groups, especially in preschool or daycare settings. Knowledge of childhood development principles and best practices in early childhood education. Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques. Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention strategies, and behavior management techniques. Experience teaching physical education activities and integrating literacy education into daily routines. Certification in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare. Demonstrated ability to foster a safe, inclusive environment that supports child welfare and promotes positive social interactions.
