Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about children's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones to foster strong partnerships. Manage classroom routines effectively, ensuring safety and discipline while promoting independence among young learners. Incorporate special education strategies and early intervention techniques to support children with diverse learning needs. Follow mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare, attendance, and assessments. Qualifications Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is required; classroom experience is highly valued. Knowledge of child development principles, childhood education best practices, and behavior management techniques. Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that supports literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth. Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is a plus. Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and teamwork within the educational community. Familiarity with special education practices, early intervention strategies, standardized testing procedures, and mandated reporting laws. Experience teaching physical education or tutoring young children is advantageous; familiarity with classroom management tools is beneficial.
