Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant and Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. This role involves nurturing and guiding infants and toddlers in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, a strong understanding of childhood development, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning atmosphere. Duties Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment tailored to infants and toddlers Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development Monitor and document each child's progress, behavior, and milestones Provide attentive care including feeding, diapering, and comforting as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met Collaborate with parents and guardians to communicate children's progress and address individual needs Follow all health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessary Support positive behavior management strategies to encourage social skills and cooperation Assist in planning curriculum activities that support early childhood education goals Experience Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and early education best practices Experience with classroom management, caregiving, or nannying is advantageous Familiarity with special education needs or working with children with disabilities is a plus Certification in first aid is desirable but not mandatory; training can be provided if needed Demonstrated ability to work effectively with young children, parents, and team members Background in childcare, babysitting, or teaching roles involving infants and toddlers is beneficial This position provides an enriching environment for those passionate about early childhood education and dedicated to supporting children's growth during their foundational years.
