Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Nursery Supervisor to lead and nurture our youngest learners in a vibrant childcare environment. In this vital role, you will oversee daily activities within the infant nursery, ensuring a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate setting for infants. Your leadership will foster a warm atmosphere where infants feel secure and loved, while also supporting their early developmental milestones. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's early years and collaborate closely with families to promote their child's growth and well-being. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily routines for infants, including feeding, diapering, nap times, and play activities Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that supports infant development and complies with health and safety regulations Implement age-appropriate curriculum plans focused on early childhood development principles Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, needs, and milestones Lead and mentor assistant staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to best practices in infant supervision Conduct regular safety checks of the nursery area, including equipment inspection and emergency preparedness drills Maintain accurate records of each infant's daily activities, health concerns, and developmental progress Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience working with infants in childcare settings such as daycare centers or preschools Level 2 PDIS or higher Infant Nursery Supervisor credential Knowledge of childhood development stages, infant care techniques, and behavior management strategies Certification in pediatric first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in first aid or special education are a plus Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and abuse prevention Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with energy, patience, and professionalism Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable Classroom experience in early childhood education or daycare environments is essential Join us in creating a nurturing space where infants can thrive! Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 32.0 - 40.0 per week
