Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Daycare Teacher to inspire and nurture young children in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and educational space that promotes developmental growth, social skills, and a love for learning. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help shape positive experiences for children during their formative years, fostering curiosity and confidence while supporting their individual needs. Duties Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and creative activities aligned with early childhood development standards. Foster a nurturing environment by providing attentive toddler care and managing classroom behavior with positive reinforcement strategies. Collaborate with colleagues to design lesson plans that support special education needs and early intervention strategies. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed diligently. Engage with children through interactive teaching methods, including tutoring, storytelling, and hands-on activities to enhance learning experiences. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about children's progress, milestones, and any behavioral concerns. Support classroom management by organizing activities that promote social skills, cooperation, and emotional regulation among students. Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare or preschool settings is essential; classroom management skills are highly valued. Knowledge of childhood development principles, Montessori methods, and early intervention techniques. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members. Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood education. Experience in special education or working with students with diverse learning needs is a plus. Certification in early childhood education or related fields is preferred; CPR/First Aid certification is required upon hiring.
