Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a caring and dependable Preschool Assistant Teacher to help support our Lead Teacher and the children in our 2.5-4-year-old classroom. You will help create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and become more independent. We are willing to help you work toward becoming fully qualified for the position. Responsibilities
- Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom routines and activities.
- Help create a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment.
- Supervise and engage with children through play, activities, and learning opportunities.
- Help with meals, nap time, outdoor time, cleaning, and transitions.
- Assist children with potty training and bathroom routines.
- Help children build independence and age-appropriate social and emotional skills.
- Help prepare children for their transition into the next classroom, Pre-Kindergarten.
- Communicate with the Lead Teacher about children's needs, progress, and any concerns.
- Help keep the classroom clean, organized, and running smoothly.
- Communicate with parents daily about their child's progress. Qualifications We are willing to help you get qualified for the position. To start, you will only need to complete:
