POSITION
ECE Infant Aide FLSA:
Non-Exempt
HOURLY SALARY
$15.16/hr. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Our Mission is to provide quality, developmentally appropriate childcare and education in a safe, faith-filled environment. We help each child to develop their individual skills of observing, questioning, and listening by getting to know the children and then using this information to guide and support them.
Essential Job Functions:
  • Possess patience and a genuine passion for working with young children.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in providing daily care for children.
  • Assist with supervising and providing a safe and positive learning environment for all children.
  • Assist with diaper changes/toileting.
  • Assist with naptimes by creating a calm and restful environment.
  • Assist with serving age-appropriate food to children.
  • Assist with teaching age-appropriate conflict resolution and emotional coping skills.
  • Be comfortable working in a Christian environment.
  • Communicates appropriately with co-workers and families.
  • Maintain an organized classroom and outside play area.
  • Assisting with activities that encourage the development of age-appropriate skills and milestones.
  • Lead by example and serve as a good role model to children.
  • Ensure a healthy classroom environment - including maintaining appropriate hygiene and cleanliness standards and safety and security of children.
  • As a childcare provider, you are required, and will be trained, to be a mandatory reporter of child abuse or neglect. You are expected to recognize the signs of abuse or neglect and immediately report any suspicions or concerns to the appropriate authorities as mandated by state law.
  • Performance must comply with all LLLC policies and adhere to state regulations.
Position Requirements:
  • Have at least a High School diploma (copy of diploma required).
  • Must pass a background check as required by law.
  • Complete all new employee training courses by start date.
  • Lift up to 50lbs.
  • Previous experience successfully working with young children is highly preferred.
