Do you love working with children? Little Adventures Child Care Center is a new large, licensed child care center opening in Grand Junction! We are looking for great teachers to join our team! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our team. As a Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing a nurturing and educational environment for young children. Your responsibilities will include planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, fostering social and emotional development, and promoting a love for learning.Duties:
- Plan and execute daily lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Create a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and explore
- Provide individualized attention and support to each child
- Foster social skills through group activities and playtime
- Monitor and assess children's progress, identifying areas for improvement
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's development
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in childcare, or related fields
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Familiarity with special education techniques is a plus
- Ability to engage and educate young children effectively
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- First aid certification is preferred
- Experience working with students with diverse needs is a plus
- Ability to provide care for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children We offer competitive compensation based on qualifications and experience.
