Look no further! We are searching for an Assistant Director who will join us in making the best environment for little ones. We care for children 6 weeks through the age of 12 and are considered a Large Childcare Center for licensing purposes. Responsibilities Oversee lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans and activities. Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in a safe environment. Assist in the daily management of the preschool center. Monitor children's behavior and implement positive behavior management techniques. Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and needs. Assist with classroom activities as needed. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities. Perform administrative duties, enrollment and tours; maintain staff and child files, state licensing maintenance, and regulation/policy compliance. Qualifications At least 6 months experience teaching in a licensed childcare setting. Degree in Early Childhood or a related field preferred. Must be Director Certified in Colorado. Willing to learn to drive a 14 passenger mini bus Excellent communication skills for interaction with children, parents, and staff. Demonstrated ability in behavior management techniques. Must be willing to participate in classrooms mentoring and covering ratios.
