Junior Jets Child Development Center (http://www.juniorjets.org/) is seeking a loving, early childhood teacher for our School. We are a non-profit, Federal Aviation Administration-operated child development center, NAEYC/Colorado Shines accredited. At our center, children come first. We have 6 classrooms and approximately 100 children aged 6 weeks to 6 years enrolled. Junior Jets has high standards for the quality of care and education given to our children. We operate in a structured environment, while still providing teachers the flexibility to implement lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate and interesting for their classes. Teachers who genuinely love early childhood education, are driven, and enjoy that type of atmosphere will be a great fit for our center.

Job Responsibilities:

Include, but not limited to, nurturing the development of each child, partnering with parents, working effectively with other teachers in the classroom, preparing and implementing developmentally-appropriate lesson plans, completing daily reports for each child, documenting each child's development and progress through established tools, and conducting parent-teacher meetings.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have completed or be interested in taking early childhood education courses. Applicants with successful experience as a paid preschool or infant/toddler teacher or caregiver in a group setting preferred, but not required. Must pass a federal background check.

Employment Type:

Full-time, must be available 6:00am -- 6:00pm Monday through Friday, shift to be determined
