Trailblazer Academy is growing, and we're looking for a Closing Toddler 2's Teacher who's ready to make an impact. If you have a heart for young children, a passion for early learning, and a love for Jesus—we might be your dream team. As a Closing Toddler 2's Teacher, you'll play a key role in wrapping up each day with care and intention. You'll ensure smooth transitions during pick-up, maintain a safe and welcoming classroom, and help prepare the environment for the next day. This role is all about guiding curious, energetic toddlers as they explore, learn, and grow in a loving, faith-centered setting.
Your Mission:
Create a nurturing, faith-filled environment where toddlers can thrive Support co-teachers and assistants in maintaining classroom routines and expectations Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff Communicate daily highlights, milestones, and any concerns with families Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support toddler development Maintain a clean, organized classroom that encourages exploration and independence Ensure all health and safety protocols are followed at all times Keep a sense of humor—because toddlers are unpredictable, energetic, and hilarious You Might Be a
Trailblazer If:
You are Lead Teacher certified through the State of Colorado (required) You MUST have previous experience working with children and be confident stepping into a fast-paced toddler classroom environment from day one You understand that this is a very active, hands-on position that requires high energy from start to finish You are comfortable being on your feet throughout the day—moving, dancing, redirecting, engaging, cleaning, teaching, and constantly interacting with children You are not afraid to jump in wherever needed—whether that means dancing to toddler worship music, getting messy with sensory play, helping calm big emotions, or sitting on the floor building towers for the hundredth time You bring positive energy, enthusiasm, and creativity into the classroom every single day You understand that toddlers thrive with consistency, patience, movement, engagement, and teachers who actively participate with them—not teachers who sit back and supervise from the sidelines You're able to move quickly, multitask, and keep up with busy little learners while maintaining a calm and loving presence You love Jesus and align with our Statement of Faith You believe play-based learning is meaningful and impactful You're ready to lead with love, consistency, teamwork, and purpose—not just supervise children
