We provide a warm, nurturing, and enriching environment through infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age programs designed to foster growth and development. Position Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Infant Teacher to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate classroom environment for our youngest learners. You will implement curriculum plans, support early childhood development milestones, and collaborate with co-teachers to ensure each child's individual needs are met. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for infants Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management strategies and conflict resolution skills Collaborate with fellow teachers to design instructional activities aligned with early childhood education standards Conduct regular student assessments and analyze performance Maintain detailed documentation of child development milestones, learning progress, and classroom activities in compliance with educational regulations Foster strong in person (and using the app) communication with parents or guardians regarding their child's growth, needs, and daily experiences Requirements Prefered prior experience working with infants in a childcare or early childhood education setting Knowledge of childhood development theories, curriculum development, and assessment techniques Strong classroom management skills combined with effective conflict management abilities Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate age appropriate standards Join us at Discovery Zone Learning Center where your enthusiasm for early childhood education can inspire young minds!
