Company Overview Discovery Zone Learning Center is a licensed educational facility serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years old. We provide a warm, nurturing environment with infant, toddler, preschool, and school-age programs that foster growth, learning, and development. Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Morning Staff Daycare Floater to join our vibrant team! In this vital role, you will support classroom activities across different age groups, assist with child supervision, and ensure a safe and engaging environment for every child. This position offers a dynamic workday where flexibility and a positive attitude make all the difference in creating memorable experiences for children and families alike. Duties Support classroom teachers by assisting with daily activities, playtime, and learning stations across various age groups Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play to ensure safety and engagement Assist with diapering, feeding, and nap routines for infants and toddlers as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment in compliance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents about their child's day, progress, and any concerns Follow all mandated reporting laws to ensure children's safety and well-being are prioritized at all times Support behavior management strategies to promote positive social interactions among children Requirements Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred Ability to work well independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills for parent interaction and team collaboration Familiarity with childhood development instruction, toddler care, infant care, and behavior management strategies Commitment to creating an inclusive, nurturing atmosphere that supports every child's growth Join us at Discovery Zone Learning Center where your enthusiasm fuels young minds!
