Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our nurturing educational environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role is essential in fostering a safe, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere where children can thrive and develop their social, emotional, and cognitive skills. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration. Create a warm and welcoming classroom environment that encourages children's curiosity and creativity. Monitor and assess each child's progress in various developmental areas, including social skills, language development, and motor skills. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues to support the children's growth and well-being. Maintain classroom management by establishing clear rules and expectations while promoting positive behavior. Collaborate with other teachers to create an inclusive environment that supports children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education services. Organize activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development through hands-on experiences. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
Requirements :
Experience working with toddler aged children in daycare settings or as a nanny is highly desirable. Strong understanding of childhood development principles and best practices in early education. Ability to manage a classroom effectively while creating an inclusive environment for all learners. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with children, parents, and staff members. A nurturing attitude with a passion for caregiving and supporting children's growth through play-based learning. Certification in First Aid/CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain certification is required. Care4Kids 18 hour certification preferred but not required.
