Responsibilities Supervise children during daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development and learning Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating environment conducive to play and education Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and needs Follow mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of neglect or abuse Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored care strategies and inclusive practices Apply child development instruction techniques to foster social skills, emotional regulation, and cognitive growth Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education methods Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid training Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies Ability to work effectively with children of different ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers Strong communication skills for engaging with parents, colleagues, and children alike Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly valued Understanding of mandated reporting laws to ensure compliance with legal requirements in child welfare Join us in creating a joyful, safe space where children can explore, learn, and grow!
