In this role, you will create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants. Your primary goal is to support each child's developmental milestones through engaging activities, attentive supervision, and personalized care. You will collaborate closely with families to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's growth and well-being. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the foundational stages of a child's life. Pay is based on experience and education. Duties Provide attentive supervision and care for infants, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, emotional, and cognitive development Maintain accurate documentation of each child's progress, routines, and special needs Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's daily experiences and developmental milestones Follow all health and safety protocols, including pediatric first aid, CPR, and mandated reporting laws Support infants with feeding, diapering, nap schedules, and soothing techniques as needed Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and socialization among infants Qualifications Prior experience working with infants in daycare, preschool, or childcare settings is highly preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles and infant care best practices Strong classroom management skills combined with patience and compassion Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration Join us in shaping the earliest experiences of children's lives!
