Qualified Teaching Staff are eligible for up to $2,600 Bonus after 6 months. We are seeking passionate Head Teachers, tasked with leading young learners through diverse educational activities. This includes introducing and guiding them through an engaging curriculum that comprises arts and crafts, independent play, storytelling sessions, and interactive class outings.   • Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children.
  • Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
  • Making sure that the classroom is clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Ensure children are supervised at all times.
  • Establish routines and provide positive guidance.
  • Discuss children's development with parents.
  • Follow and implement NAEYC standards and curriculum Qualifications
  • Applicant must hold a Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate or will complete 12+ credits in Early Childhood Education within 1 year.
  • At least 1 year of experience working with children.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse staff and parents.
  • Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
  • CPR / First Aid certified.
  • Experience working with or familiarity with NAEYC accreditation standards and practices.
