Qualified Teaching Staff are eligible for up to $2,600 Bonus after 6 months. We are seeking passionate Head Teachers, tasked with leading young learners through diverse educational activities. - Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate lesson plans for young children.
- Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
- Making sure that the classroom is clean, safe, and well-organized.
- Ensure children are supervised at all times.
- Establish routines and provide positive guidance.
- Discuss children's development with parents.
- Follow and implement NAEYC standards and curriculum Qualifications
- Applicant must hold a Connecticut Head Teacher Certificate or will complete 12+ credits in Early Childhood Education within 1 year.
- At least 1 year of experience working with children.
- Associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse staff and parents.
- Passion, idealism, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed.
- CPR / First Aid certified.
- Experience working with or familiarity with NAEYC accreditation standards and practices.
