Conduct child development assessments and utilize standardized testing when appropriate to monitor growth and tailor instruction accordingly. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare and incident reports. Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, maintaining a safe environment for all children in accordance with health regulations. Skills Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, and early intervention strategies. Skilled in classroom management, behavior management, and creating inclusive learning environments for children with special needs or requiring additional support. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Familiarity with Montessori methods, standardized testing procedures, and literacy education techniques. Ability to plan lessons that incorporate physical activities, math concepts, and social-emotional learning tailored for young learners. Certified in first aid and CPR; knowledge of mandated reporting laws applicable to childcare providers.
