Job Description
- Full time with benefits positions must be available for shifts that end at 6:00 p.m.
- Must meet DOE qualifications as an ECE teacher.
Overview:
We are seeking passionate Early Childhood Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.Duties:
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate the intellectual and social growth of children
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum goals
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure developmental milestones are met
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to promote positive behavior in the classroom
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual needs
- Incorporate special education strategies for students with diverse learning needs
- Foster a love for learning through engaging activities in math, language arts, science, and social studies
- Prepare students for standardized testing as required
Requirements:
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to create a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment
- Familiarity with preschool curriculum and teaching methods
- Proficiency in classroom management techniques
