Job Summary We are Hiring for a Head Teacher - A Head Teacher Certificate/CDA is required!!! We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. Concord Preschool has been a leader in our early childhood education community since 1956. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in childhood development and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment. As a Preschool Teacher in our center, you will need to be committed to creating meaningful relationships with children and families while inspiring the children to be lifelong learners. Attending to the needs of all children in the classroom To interact with the children and encourage their involvement in preschool activities. To ensure the safety of each child, and prepare a warm, safe environment that is orderly and clean To prepare lesson plans and materials needed for the program. To assist the children with activities and projects during preschool and monitor the children during free play in the classroom. To take the children outside daily. To assist the children while using indoor and outdoor large motor equipment. To establish and maintain good communication with parents.

A MUST :

DE First Teacher Qualification (Certificate) for Head Teacher or possess an active Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential. A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference in a child's life. 1-2 years Early Childhood Education Experience(preferred) but not required CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain Must meet the State of Delaware specific guidelines for the role Must be background checked before starting
