Category Schools - Paraprofessional Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding 60-day contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a vibrant school environment near Wilmington, Delaware. This assignment involves delivering essential support to Kindergarten classrooms, helping young learners have the best start possible in their education journey. Two positions are available, with full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch), starting as soon as possible.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit (must be in hand; pending status not accepted—attach verification from the DEEDS portal if permit is pending). Experience as a Paraprofessional or within a school-based setting is strongly desired. Willingness to pay for mandatory $85 CBC fingerprinting (required prior to hire). Ability to collaborate closely with teachers and provide school-wide programmatic support in Kindergarten settings. RBTs may apply; however, please note supervision for RBT status must be secured independently, and the role/payscale is classified exclusively as Paraprofessional.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide hands-on classroom support to students and instructional staff within Kindergarten environments. Assist with implementation of educational and behavioral programs across the school. Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive atmosphere for all learners. Support individual and small-group activities to promote academic and social development. Help maintain classroom organization and ensure effective communication with school staff.
