New Generation Montessori is seeking an experienced, credentialed Infant/Toddler Lead Guide who brings warmth, intention, and strong Montessori practice to working with children from birth to age three. Your Role As Lead Guide, you will bring Montessori philosophy into the daily life of your classroom—from the arrangement of materials to the way you support a child through a difficult moment.

You will:

Prepare and maintain an orderly, inviting environment that responds to children's developmental needs. Use observation to guide individualized experiences and document each child's growth. Foster independence through patient, respectful caregiving, including meals, diapering, toileting, and rest. Support language, movement, social connection, and emotional development. Provide attentive supervision and maintain consistent health and safety practices. Guide classroom assistants through clear communication, modeling, and shared expectations. Build warm, professional partnerships with families. Collaborate with curriculum coordinators and campus leadership, contributing ideas, asking questions, and following through on agreed classroom goals. What You'll Bring A completed Montessori Infant/Toddler credential is required for this position , such as: AMS Infant & Toddler credential. AMI Assistants to Infancy diploma. An Infant/Toddler credential earned through a MACTE-accredited teacher education program. A comparable Infant/Toddler Montessori credential, subject to review.

We are also looking for:

Experience working with children from birth to age three. A strong understanding of Montessori infant and toddler development and practice. Warmth, patience, sound judgment, and respectful communication. The ability to lead a classroom while collaborating with others. Initiative, openness to feedback, and a commitment to continued professional learning. Candidates must meet applicable Florida childcare training, background screening, and certification requirements for the role.
