Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Preschool Floater to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will provide support across various classrooms, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children. You will assist lead teachers in implementing educational activities and behavior management strategies, fostering a love for learning among our students. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners. Duties Support lead teachers in daily classroom activities and lesson planning. Assist with behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions among students. Engage children in educational activities that enhance literacy and math skills. Provide individualized attention to students, helping them with their learning needs. Facilitate a variety of learning experiences that align with Montessori principles. Supervise children during playtime and transitions between activities to ensure safety. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive learning environment. Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and supplies. Experience Previous experience in childcare or working with preschool-aged children is preferred. Familiarity with Montessori methods or private school settings is a plus. Strong skills in literacy education, math concepts, and lesson planning are beneficial. Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive atmosphere. Experience tutoring or educating young students will be advantageous. A passion for early childhood education and the ability to connect with children is essential.
