We are looking for a reliable, energetic, friendly, and hardworking person to help a very busy family with five children on Saturday and/or Sundays. This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys being around children, is naturally helpful, stays busy without needing to be told what to do, and can jump in wherever help is needed. We are looking for someone who can become a trusted extra set of hands for the parents and help make Saturdays run a little smoother.

ABOUT THE ROLE

With five kids and a busy Saturday schedule, there is always something happening! The ideal person will be quick, efficient, organized, active, and great with children . You should be comfortable moving between different responsibilities throughout the day and able to prioritize what needs to be done. This is not a position where you sit around waiting for instructions . We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and naturally jumps in to help.

WITH THE KIDS A

big part of the position will involve engaging with the children and helping with their Saturday activities.

Responsibilities may include:

Helping get the kids ready for their activities Driving children to and from sports, activities, appointments, or other scheduled events Keeping the kids engaged and entertained Playing with them and participating in activities Helping with sports and outdoor activities Supervising children when needed Helping keep everyone on schedule Occasional babysitting Making sure the kids are safe, happy, and having fun Helping with transitions from one activity to the next We want someone who is hands-on and engaged with the children — not someone who simply supervises from the sidelines.

HELP AROUND THE HOUSE

The position will also involve helping the family with general household tasks throughout the day.

This may include:

Helping keep common areas tidy Cleaning up after the kids Organizing children's belongings Helping with laundry or folding clothes when needed Unpacking or putting away items Helping prepare things for the children's activities Light household organization Helping parents with whatever needs to be handled that day Keeping the kitchen and children's areas picked up Running occasional household errands Nothing extreme or deep-cleaning focused — the goal is to help keep the household moving and organized while the parents are managing five children and their schedules.

OCCASIONAL MEAL PREP

Occasional meal preparation may also be part of the position.

This could include:

Preparing simple meals for the kids Cutting/prepping fruits and vegetables Preparing snacks Helping get meals ready before activities Packing lunches or snacks Cleaning up after meal preparation You don't need to be a professional chef. We simply need someone who is comfortable in the kitchen and can follow directions and prepare basic family-friendly meals.

•DRIVING There will also be occasional driving involved, so a valid driver's license, safe driving history, and reliable vehicle are important. You may be asked to help transport children to: Sports Activities Classes Friends' houses Errands Other scheduled Saturday activities Safety, responsibility, and punctuality are extremely important.
