$55,000-$65,000 Job Overview TruFusion Coral Gables is looking for an experienced, passionate, and high-energy Fitness Manager to join our leadership team! We're looking for someone who brings positive energy, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for the fitness and wellness industry. This person will play an integral role in developing our instructor team, maintaining an exceptional fitness experience, and continuing to build a strong fitness community within our studio. We have a strong preference for candidates who are certified and experienced in Yoga and/or Pilates, with additional experience in Cycling, HIIT, or other group fitness modalities being a major plus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Provide direct supervision, guidance and performance feedback to instructors within the assigned modalities Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach, and develop our instructor team
  • Manage class scheduling, performance, and programming
  • Lead instructor auditions, onboarding, mentorship, and evaluations
  • Help maintain consistency and excellence across our fitness modalities
  • Lead trainings and workshops to support instructor development
  • Teach 5-10 classes per week
  • Work alongside studio leadership to continue growing the TruFusion Coral Gables community
  • Manage and maintain the class schedule, ensuring alignment with studio goals and modality balance.
  • Report and manage class performance and attendance trends, providing data-driven recommendations to optimize scheduling
  • Oversee and coordinate instructor substitutions 5 days per week, ensuring all classes are appropriately staffed, and operational needs are met.
  • Ensure that all programming and development for courses, classes and training are held accountable for respective instructor teams
  • Maintain the utmost professionalism for the brand and brand guidelines and standards
  • Manage instructor payroll submissions to ensure they are accurate and submitted on time for regular payroll and teacher trainings, as well as any additional upskill workshops
  • Support the growth of new instructors by managing auditions, onboarding, and mentorship initiatives.
  • Support instructor performance evaluations and help identify development pathways for instructors.
  • Manage & Organize Analytics (room utilization, modality utilization, teacher data (FU, Retention, Utilization)
  • Teach 5-10 classes per week in assigned modality.
  • Act as a Master Instructor, capable of leading trainings and workshops, including hosting quarterly workshops for instructors at the studio level to foster continued growth and alignment
  • Follow all sanitation protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment.
  • Ensure that best practices and safety procedures are performed as required. Support for Daily Operations
  • Actively participate in bi-weekly or monthly meetings with studio management, Master Instructors, and Brand/Experience teams, provide feedback, and ensure alignment.
  • Support the Studio General Manager in maintaining operational efficiency and upholding TruFusion's values.
  • Report any member conflicts/issues to studio General Manager.
  • Monitor and report any facility maintenance or repair needs to management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to interact with staff, members and vendors while remaining professional, polite, and courteous.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to take direction, constructive feedback-evaluations work independently, or as part of a team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills. Experience & Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Experience with NetGym and applicable studio software preferred
  • Proven experience in leading and managing teams, with a focus on coaching, development, and performance management
  • Certified in both Yoga and Pilates modalities is strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of group instruction experience preferred
  • Additional certifications or experience in HIIT and/or Cycling are a plus
  • CPR/AED certification preferred or required per local/state regulation.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Requires standing, bending, and moving for extended periods regularly
  • Studio-based setting with music and ambient lighting
  • Ability to lift and carry fitness equipment and supplies
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs regularly
  • Ability to work in warm and humid conditions, especially during heated fitness classes.
