Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Assistant to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Assist with implementing age-appropriate curriculum activities focused on early childhood development and learning Support children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap time, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily experiences to foster trust and transparency Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and creativity Follow mandated reporting laws to identify and report any signs of neglect or abuse promptly Support classroom management strategies to promote positive behavior and social skills among children Requirements Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings is highly preferred Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education best practices Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure quick response during emergencies Familiarity with special education needs and experience working with children with disabilities is a plus Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members in a professional manner Strong understanding of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies Commitment to maintaining a safe environment by adhering to health protocols and mandated reporting laws Join us as a Daycare Assistant to inspire young minds, support families, and contribute to the foundation of lifelong learning!
