Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Aftercare Teacher to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for children ages 6 and older. Driving the school van to pick up children from local schools is a required part of this position. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and a passion for education. This role involves leading aftercare activities, supervising children, and supporting their overall development. Signing bonus offered for qualified candidates!

Responsibilities:

Drive the school van to pick up children from local schools and bring them safely to our aftercare program. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities. Create a safe and welcoming environment for all students. Monitor children's development and progress. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's growth. Encourage social, emotional, and cognitive development through play. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance educational programs. Maintain classroom organization and cleanliness. Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and willingness to drive the school van for student pickups. Completed DCF 45-hours highly preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. CPR and First Aid certification highly preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Background check clearance required.
