Pay:

$15.50-$17.00/hour based on experience and qualifications Kidz Connection Learning Center is a warm, family-owned childcare center seeking a caring and dependable Lead Toddler Teacher to guide our classroom of children ages 2-3. The ideal candidate is confident leading a classroom, passionate about early childhood education, and able to work with an open and flexible schedule. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a toddler classroom in a safe, nurturing environment. Plan and provide age-appropriate learning activities. Manage daily routines, transitions, meals, diapering/toileting, rest time, and play. Support children's social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical development. Maintain a clean, organized classroom. Communicate professionally and warmly with families. Work cooperatively with assistant teachers and center staff. Follow all center policies and health and safety procedures. Requirements Experience working with toddlers or young children preferred. Ability to confidently lead and manage a classroom. Warm, patient, reliable, and team-oriented personality. Strong communication skills. Ability to actively participate in classroom activities and meet the physical demands of caring for toddlers. Open availability is required , including flexibility for opening, closing, and scheduled shifts. Availability to work 35-40 hours per week is preferred. Completion of the Florida DCF 45-hour Child Care Training is required before employment. CDA credential preferred. Why Join Us?
