Job Description
Overview:
Dade Christian Church, a ministry of New Testament Baptist Church, is growing. Join our team for the 26/27 school year, as a Preschool Teacher and make a difference in the lives of young learners. We are seeking dedicated individuals who have a passion for teaching and nurturing preschool-aged children.Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to stimulate children's cognitive, social, and emotional growth
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Conduct activities that promote physical, mental, and social development
- Monitor and assess student progress to provide feedback to parents and caregivers
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and behavior
Experience:
- Classroom management skills to create an organized and engaging learning environment.
- Experience in teaching students with diverse learning needs.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience working with young children in daycare or toddler care settings.
- Knowledge of curriculum development principles to design engaging lesson plans.
