Requirements Prior experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is essential. Experience with special education techniques, behavior management, and classroom management strategies. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and team members. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; ongoing professional development in early childhood education is preferred. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety regulations. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activities, and social-emotional learning.
