Responsibilities Collaborate with the Preschool Director to develop and implement innovative curriculum plans aligned with best practices in early childhood education and childhood development principles. Assist in managing daily school operations, including supervising staff, overseeing classroom activities, and ensuring adherence to educational policies and legal requirements such as special education law and educational compliance standards. Lead staff recruitment, training, and professional development initiatives to promote instructional leadership and elevate teaching quality across classrooms. Support faculty evaluation processes by observing classroom instruction, providing constructive feedback, and facilitating ongoing professional growth opportunities. Manage school administrative functions including budgeting, managing school resources, maintaining records, and ensuring operational efficiency. Engage in strategic planning efforts to enhance program offerings, increase community engagement through fundraising initiatives, and support school-wide goals. Ensure a safe, inclusive environment for children by supervising classroom activities and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations related to early childhood education. Represent the preschool at community events, participate in public speaking engagements, and foster strong relationships with families to promote a collaborative school culture. Qualifications Proven experience in school administrative roles within early childhood or K-12 education settings, with a strong background in preschool or early childhood development. Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and managing educational programs aligned with childhood development standards. Extensive management experience including supervising personnel, facilitating professional development sessions in schools, and managing budgets as an education administrator. Knowledge of legal requirements affecting early childhood education such as special education law and educational compliance regulations. Strong skills in strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, and school operations coordination. Excellent communication abilities for public speaking engagements, team leadership, and fostering positive relationships with staff and families. Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments while maintaining a focus on innovative educational practices that support young learners' growth.
